Hey everyone! I’m so excited for this year’s Penned Con. It’s going to be another amazing event. With over 150 authors attending, there is bound to be something for everyone.

Thursday is author set up and attendee registration (if you prefer to get that out of the way early). Some of us will be meeting around 8 pm Thursday night on the roof top patio of the City Center Hotel. Grab a drink from the lobby bar, then come up to see us!

Friday starts the full day of fun! Registration opens at 9 am, then at 10:00 the opening and keynote speaker. The book signing room opens at 11:00 and at 12:00 the panels and workshops begin. The day will stay busy until about 4:30 when we enter the Author Vs Reader Nerf War! Enjoy a break (or a nap) and then meet us at 7:00 pm for the Red Coat PR Party!

Saturday has a similar schedule with varied games, workshops, and panels. If you were lucky enough to get a ticket before they sold out, you’ll then join us on the red carpet at 6:30 pm for photos and at 7:00 the luau and awards ceremony begins.

One of the things I love most about this signing is that all the proceeds benefit Action For Autism, a charity devoted to helping families and individuals with autism. And because we raised the challenge amount in the Go Fund Me campaign, our leader and organizer Rick Miles will be wearing this little number at the luau. 🙂


This event has expanded so much that we are now occupying the entire top floor of City Center Hotel!

I’m so excited about seeing you all and I know this will be another epic event. If you can’t make it this year, be sure to plan for next year. I’m already looking forward to 2017. 🙂
